Celebrating World Book Day – 6th March 2025!

On Thursday, March 6th, our school joined millions of readers around the world to celebrate World Book Day, a special event dedicated to promoting reading, creativity, and the joy of books. It’s a day where stories come to life, and all our students joined in the fun dressing up as their favourite book characters or in their PJ's!

The children also enjoyed a special themed lunch based on some well known children's books, had a visit from Katie Budge a local children's author and were visited by some of the children from Almond Hill who read with children.  It was wonderful to see the joy it spread throughout the school!

World Book Day is more than just a fun event – it’s an opportunity to remind ourselves of the power of books to entertain, educate, and inspire. We hope to foster a lifelong love for reading in every student and to create memories that will last far beyond this special day.
